The first step is to contact Countrywide and advise them of your interest. You can call them on 01392 813333. Have a chat about the apartment you want, check the details and arrange a viewing.

Secure your property

Reservation Fee of £500 secures your apartment and takes it off the market.

Instruct a solicitor

When you have found the perfect Phoenix Court apartment for you it’s time to put the wheels in motion. Countrywide work with a number of local solicitors who are in a position to start the conveyancing process straight away for you as they have already prepared the groundwork on Phoenix Court and are also working for other buyers. They also specialise in New Homes Conveyancing so selecting one of these Solicitors ensures a stress free quick service.

Do you need a mortgage?

If you need a mortgage now is the time to get your mortgage offer. Countrywide have their own new build mortgage specialists who are the preferred mortgage broker for many National new build developers. The Mortgage Bureau have access to over 11,000 mortgage products from more than 90 UK lenders so will be able to let you know how much you can borrow depending upon your employment status, income and affordability calculations and also what it will cost. The advisors are available 7 days a week to discuss. The Mortgage Bureau can also prepare and submit your Help to Buy Application if you decide to take advantage of the Government Equity Loan.

Your solicitor will advise you of the next steps, they will do all necessary searches, make any enquiries required and then report to you. Once you are happy with all the details we can move on to exchange of contracts, this is a legally binding contract for both parties. At exchange the deposit will need to be paid, we take into account the sum already paid to reserve your apartment.

The final steps are completion, the time between exchange and completion can vary, of course much depends on the development progress itself and the expected time of completion for the apartment you are purchasing. Upon completion we will receive your monies by transfer either from your bank or from the mortgage company, once receipt of money has been confirmed by our solicitors you can pick up your keys from Countrywide and move in!

Remember if you recommend us to someone and they purchase a property as a result we will give you a £250 High Street voucher as a thank you.
